What is the Youth
Apprenticeship Program?
This is your chance to learn, earn, and launch your career in early childhood education - all before graduating high school. As a registered apprentice, you'll get on-the-job training at one of our Talk Childcare to Me locations while earning industry-recognized credentials and a paycheck.

How It Works
1️⃣ Attend an Info Session (May or June)
2️⃣ Apply with Our Team
3️⃣ Interview + Match With a Location
4️⃣ Start September 15 as a Paid Apprentice
Who Can Apply?
You can apply if you:
Are 15 - 18 years old
Attend a JCPS school
Are enrolled (or interested) in the Early Childhood Education pathway
Want to make a difference in children’s lives
Spaces are limited!
We’re accepting just 2–3 youth apprentices at each location to pilot this exciting new program.
